Purpose: 

• Student Conference Scholarships – Scholarships will be awarded to 3-5 students for every AACE and SITE conference providing registration to all events including workshops.
• Donations to Schools – At most AACE conferences, the Foundation will announce the donation of a laptop, netbook, or table PC to a school.
• Green Initiative – Not only will the events have a reduced environmental impact but hopefully this example will bring increased ‘green’ awareness for participants.
  1. Conference Bags. In an effort to reduce the collective environmental impact of conferences, eco-friendly, reuseable/recyclable conference bags will be available. Bags purchased will consist of recycled materials and can be recycled. The conference year will not be imprinted thus encouraging participants to bring and reuse bags at future conferences. Plans include offering gift certificate awards for these attendees.
  2. Online Proceedings Papers. LearnTechLib – Education and Information Technology Digital Library has been developed to make freely available and searchable all conference papers for conference participants. There also is the added benefits of searching across conferences by keywords, emailing abstracts to colleagues, creating your own collections of papers, and more.
