JTATE Pre-Submission Checklist for Authors

This checklist is intended to help authors confirm that a manuscript is ready for submission and aligns with JTATE’s expectations for quality, clarity, and fit.

1.  Journal Fit and Contribution

  • The work aligns with JTATE’s focus on technology in teacher
  • The paper explicitly states the relevant contributions to research, practice, or
  • The submission draws on relevant and current literature in the
  • The manuscript includes a discussion on how the findings relate to teacher preparation and/or professional learning.

2.  Manuscript Structure and Organization

  • The paper clearly states the problem or purpose and situates the work with appropriate conceptual or theoretical framing.
  • The methods are described transparently and with enough detail for readers to understand and evaluate them.
  • Results or findings are reported clearly and accurately and are connected to the broader field through a well-developed discussion.

3.  Writing Quality and Clarity

  • The writing is clear, concise, and professional in its
